“Say it by not saying it.” “Tom Swifities.” “Write to a quota.” If you’re a student of Gene Perret’s you’re familiar with these sayings. They’re a part of Gene’s teachings and his legacy. During his tenure as a comedy writing, Gene educated, encouraged and mentored others to pursue their dreams of a career in comedy. We are currently working on a documentary that will tell that story and encourage a whole new generation of comedy writers and performers.
In order to fund this project, we are taking orders for this t-shirt depicting some of Gene’s words of wisdom. All profits from the sales of these shirts will be used for the film, Comedy Writing Guru.
